The family-run and lovingly meticulously detailed Schweizer Hof is a hidden gem for those who want to spend their vacation far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and amidst the pristine natural landscape of the Salzburger Lungau. The motto here is to come up to unwind.

The sunny and quiet location of the Schweizer Hof with views over the lovely valley basin of the Salzburger Lungau is a perfect starting point for a relaxed active holiday for the whole family. The nature reserve around Lake Preber, popular among nature lovers, can be reached in just about 5 minutes by car. At the same time, the small and vibrant district capital Tamsweg is only 3 minutes away by car.

The wide Lungau valley basin with its 5 dreamy side valleys and untouched natural landscapes forms the absolute contrast to city life, with skyscrapers, streets, and offices. In 2012, the region received the UNESCO Biosphere Park designation for exactly this reason. This award guarantees an authentic vacation experience, both in summer at one of the 60 mountain lakes or in winter in one of the family-friendly ski areas.

In summer, all guests of the Schweizer Hof receive the personal guest card “LungauCard” for the duration of their stay for free. The LungauCard offers a huge variety of free and discounted activities – from mountain lift rides, entrance to outdoor pools, castles, or museums to the Outdoorpac Lungau – for the whole family.

In winter, guests at the Schweizer Hof also benefit from numerous discounts and advantages with their personal winter card. For example, cross-country skiing enthusiasts can use the 150 km long trail network (classic & skating) as well as the three snow-secure high trails, such as in the nearby Preber area, for free.
