“Grüß Gott at the Murtalhütte”. Experience and feel your holiday in a different way than usual – quietly relaxing-relaxing-compensating. Nestled between up to 3000 metre high mountains, our Murtalhütte is located, away from the municipality of Muhr in the Lungau in the Salzburger Land. Our holidaymakers do not appreciate being able to spend any “HÜTTENDORF” on holiday. We are located on the edge of the largest nature reserve in the Alps – the HOHE TAUERN National Park in the Lungau-Nockberge Biosphere Reserve. Surrounded by the Niedere and Radstädter Tauern, the Murtalhütte is located at 1,120m above sea level (easily accessible by car in winter) in a unique and unmistakable mountain landscape. You can expect fantastic mountain pastures, mountains with glaciers, crystal-clear mountain waters, 60 deep blue mountain lakes, breathtaking waterfalls, combined with any animal and plant life that you will not find anywhere else in this variety. The absolute highlight of the cottage is undoubtedly the spacious living room with a hilly walled bar, a wood-burning stove, an extremely comfortable mains table, a pull-out coquettish and a TV. Our underfloor heating effortlessly provides cosy warmth throughout the hut. In the bathroom you will find a shower, 2 washbasins and 1 toilet. For wellness and relaxation you can use our unique barrel sauna in the garden, followed by a refreshing refreshing refreshment in the mountain stream in front of the hut. And there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and a shared room with five beds in the cottage.

The weekly prices are excl. Cottage cleaning and electricity. (Electricity according to consumption per KW 0.50)
For the cleaning of the hut we charge 135,- €, if dogs are taken along, an additional EURO 7,--/ day have to be paid.
Bed linen and towels not included. For bed linen we charge 7 euros with towels and shower towels per set.
