In the center you find our restaurant ‘Greimerather Forst‘ and our new guesthouse ‘Ferienwohnungen Greimerather Forst‘. We built five holiday flats resembling our name by integrating a wooden design in a recently redeveloped house. Two of the flats have south-facing balconies with garden furniture and a view. The two loft flats have an incredible view over the roofs of Greimerath and its surrounding woodlands. Solid wood furniture adds to the feel good atmosphere of the rooms. You will be staying in the right spot to start hikes or bike rides. The hike track ‘Traumschleife Greimerather Höhenweg‘ starts right here and the bike track ‘Ruwer-Hochwald-Radweg‘ is close by (approx. 400m). But you can also get to know the area which offers many opportunities. Highly recommended are daytrips to Saarburg, Trier (Germany´s oldest city with an impressive cathedral and lots of traces of the Roman Empire) or to the close-by reservoir ‘Losheimer Stausee‘. The ‘Saarschleife‘ (a huge river loop in Mettlach) or one of the many Mosel or Saar wineries invite visitors to linger. Welcome to the Burg Heider Mühle holiday home, idyllically situated between Lampaden and Heddert, near Burg Heid on the Heidkopf, which is 530 m above sea level. Leave everyday life behind and relax with the whole family and, if you like, your dog in the newly renovated holiday home with a total of 150 m² of living space. Enjoy the 6,000 m² garden with direct access to the Ruwer and the large sun terrace, furnished with a table and 6 seats.
