Description
In the "Snow Safety Plus" avalanche course, you will learn advanced avalanche skills on the basis of the "Snow Safety Basic" course.
Decision-making in unsecured terrain is one of the focal points of this course. The reduction method, 3x3 and pattern recognition are applied during tour planning and directly in the terrain. Tactics, pattern recognition, track setting and risk management are practiced and applied in the terrain.
Course duration: 2 days
Requirements: The avalanche course is for winter sports enthusiasts who have already had some experience in snow tours and have a basic knowledge of avalanche awareness. Participation in the "Snow Safety Basic" avalanche course is ideal.
