Godramstein celebrates: Landau's district invites you to the wine festival from August 8 to August 11
There is always something happening in LD – and this is not only true in the city center, but especially in the district villages.
From Friday, August 8, to Monday, August 11, celebrations will take place in Godramstein. After an ecumenical church service on Friday at 6 PM in the village square, Mayor Dominik Geißler, Wine Princess Emma I, and local councilor Thoma Flocken will officially open the festival at 7 PM with the traditional shot. The musical part of the first festival evening will be provided by a live band starting at 8 PM.
On Saturday, a one-hour evening walk with interesting facts and anecdotes about Kienzler's tobacco factory will take place with the Palatinate Forest Association. Meeting point is at 6 PM at the community center. Of course, there will be live music again from 8 PM.
On Sunday, the book cellar in the Protestant community center will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM, and at 10:30 AM the festive church service will be held in the Catholic church. Afterwards, from 11:30 AM, the traditional early beer with white sausage, draft beer, and music from the Kleine Kalmit music association from Arzheim will be served.
On Monday evening, there will be a performance....
Food and drink will be provided on all days. On Sundays, there will also be a coffee and cake sale.
